Change of Supervisory Board at Prime Capital: Dr Michael Drill joins the Board

05/08/2020

Frankfurt, 05th August 2020

Prime Capital has appointed Dr Michael Drill (55) to the Supervisory Board. He is CEO of Frankfurt-based Lincoln International AG. Since 2006, he has been jointly responsible for the strategic direction and the operational management of the M&A investment bank in the German-speaking area. Dr Michael Drill has many years of working experience; since 1991, he has been advising clients on acquisitions, public takeovers and divestments, and was working for large corporations, medium-sized and owner-managed companies, as well as Private Equity companies. Mr Drill studied business administration and received his doctorate in the field of corporate finance. In addition, he is lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. „We are pleased that we were able to gain an experienced practitioner, who successfully accompanied numerous business transformations. We will benefit from his knowledge, as well as from his experience as Supervisory Board Member of two listed companies“, adds Wolfgang Stolz, Chairman of Prime Capital’s Supervisory Board.

Dr Michael Drill replaces with immediate effect Dr Andreas Sauer (57), who belonged to the Supervisory Board since August 2016. The former founder, CEO and CIO of today’s Quoniam Asset Management has been leading his own investment boutique since 2013 and is, inter alia, lecturer at the Karlsruher Institut for Technology (KIT) for asset management and quantitative portfolio management. „With Dr Andreas Sauer, we had a designated expert in portfolio management, in quantitative research and product development in our ranks. We would like to thank him for his commitment and valuable impulses during the successful further development of Prime Capital over the past years“, says Wolfgang Stolz.

Axel Pfeil (67) remains member of the Supervisory Board of Prime Capital AG, to whom he belongs since 2009. Before, he was divisional director at Deutsche Bank AG as well as CEO of DB Investor, Chief Representative of EON AG, and worked in various positions in the industry, consulting firms and auditing companies. For a number of years, he has been independent entrepreneur and investor.
