On 24 September Prime Capital’s PCAM Blue Chip Ltd. received an award from Hedge Fund Intelligence at the InvestHedge Awards 2014 for its outstanding performance. Launched in October 2007 and managed by Dr. Werner Goricki and his team, PCAM Blue Chip Ltd. received its first global prize after winning 9 European Awards since 2011 – this time in the very competitive segment “Global Multi-Strategy $100m – $500m, 5 Years”.

Since its inception, PCAM Blue Chip Ltd. has consistently been in the top 10% globally allocating fund of hedge funds, gaining +30.7% in 2009, +8.9% in 2010, +4.8% in 2011, +9.6% in 2012, +9.9% in 2013 and +5.8% YTD (as of end of August 2014).

Apart from the impressive performance, the cost structure of PCAM Blue Chip Ltd. gained particular attention. Since inception, institutional investors are offered a share class with 0.5% p.a. management fee and no performance fee, as well as an additional share class with a 10% performance fee only. PCAM Blue Chip Ltd. is tax transparent for German investors.
